Liquid Telecom has now reached final close on the Neotel deal, which saw the company unveil its new brand.
“Neotel is now part of the Liquid Telecom Group. This bold acquisition creates the largest pan-African telecommunications service provider, with the competitive advantage of an unparalleled fibre network footprint across the region and a comprehensive product portfolio,” the company said.
Neotel said Liquid Telecom brings a successful and proven business model to South Africa, which combined with its own expertise, experience and extensive sales and support businesses, will result in a compelling value proposition to telecoms operators, enterprises, governments, small and medium businesses and individual customers.
“It also creates a wide range of exciting opportunities for our staff, and promises a great deal for our loyal suppliers,” Neotel said.
The new branding was posted on social media this morning. The company’s new website is expected to launch at 11:00 today.
